Levels’ Best CIC

2016 is the 13th year of trading for Levels’ Best Farmers & Craft Market.

The market is famed for its extensive variety of fresh seasonal and local produce, unique quality crafts and has a strong following.

The Levels’ Best ethos combines conservation farming with the preservation of native breeds reared to high welfare standards within a wildlife-rich wetland landscape for the mutual benefit of producers, consumers, conservation, local food & drink and tourism industries.

The market was the winner of the Somerset Life Food & Drink Awards in 2007 and 2012 and in 2014 won GOLD Award from Taste of the West.

Nine markets a year are run in Partnership with the National Trust at Montacute House. They are all family and dog friendly with free parking and entrance to the market. Entertainment is provided, free of charge, at each market.

2016 see a new addition to Somerset’s well-loved Levels Best Farmers and Craft markets as a new venue is being added.

In addition to markets at Montacute you will now be able to find Levels Best Farmers Markets at the Willows & Wetlands Visitor Centre at Stoke St Gregory. Four markets will be held throughout the year ending with the market joining the Willows and Wetlands annual Christmas Fayre, which has become a hugely popular event. There is ample free parking and entrance to the Willow & Wetlands is free. The market and the Willows & Wetlandswelcome dogs and there are ample walking opportunities.  There is much to explore at this new venue, after you have enjoyed shopping at the market, including the Lemon Tree Coffee House, craft units, Willow Basket shop and a museum of willow curiosities.
