This week I'm reporting back from the gorgeous She Coffee Lounge and Tea Emporium in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
I loved it the second I walked through the door- and not just because the aroma of good coffee hits you as you open the door!
I have always been a sucker for 'rustic' and 'quirky' and this place has both those qualities. It is also very friendly. Add to that the existence of a specified coffee menu, and I was in coffee drinkers heaven!
I should warn you however- that if you are on a diet this is not the place to come. The food is unbelievably good...I will gloss over how much cake I ate while I was writing up notes to help me fill the spattering of plot holes in my latest novel draft.
I have always liked sorting out plot issues. By the time all they are all water tight, all the timelines are double checked, and all the words have been scanned to make sure that they haven't been used too often (nothing worse than 3 'amazings' on one page), then I usually have something I'm brave enough to show to my editor! How much red pen he covers the paper in is another story!!
'She' really is a lovely place- just look at this fabulous table.
And this great piano!
I better leave you now, and crack on with sorting those plot holes out!
Thanks for dropping by!
Happy coffee sipping,
